WHAT IS AN UNDERWATER TRAIL?
In the underwater trail applications that are established in the world’s various places, the opportunities to meet the underwater animals and sea life are presented to local people and children.
People can be informed from the underwater information panels explaining the marine organisms that live in the different habitats of the underwater. Therefore the countries are supplied prestige by increasing the eco-turism income.
Besides these regions host the various activities such as environmetal training and the snorkelling to protect the marine organisms in the coastal ecosystem.
GÖKÇEADA UNDERWATER TRAIL
In the underwater trail and the small building established in Yıldız Bay located in Gökçeada Underwater Marine Park, there is an opportunity for the visitors to observe the marine animals with the guidance of a park ranger. Also the visitors of the park can swim freely by following the buoys of the underwater trail using the diving equipments like, mask, snorkel and fins. They can take informations from the underwater panels explaining the marine animals live in five different habitats and from the information panels in the beach.
