Posidonia oceanica only found in the Mediterranean Sea is a flowering plant and oxygen source for other living organisms like the terrestrial forests.

The coastal fish species; picarel, atherines, bogue, salema schools, grouper fishes, sea breams, damsel fish and colorful wrasses can be seen frequently.

They are sessile animals that means they are attached on a substrate on the sea bed and have a long life span.
